You are an overcomer!

Hardship is a fact of life...
God gave us free choice. Because He's not a dictator, He doesn't force us to act as He wants us to. Free choice means that some will make poor choices, and those poor choices cause sin. Sin affects us, and it affects those around us. Because of sin, every single person has to deal with trouble.
But we can have peace as we deal with each of our difficulties! When we rely on Christ alone for our strength, we can know we're on the winning team. The battle may be a rough one, but He has already won. We can relax in the knowledge that He has already defeated every hardship we face. We are winners. You are an overcomer! (I love this song).
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 13:33
Dear Father, thank You for Christ. Thank You that in You, I can be an overcomer. Amen.
