We are God’s Partners

We are God’s Partners

Most of God's promises and covenants in the Bible are considered conditional, meaning they require certain actions or obedience from us to be fulfilled.

“Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust Him, and He will help you.” Psalm 37:5

  1. Commit
  2. Trust
  3. Be helped

“If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them, and they in God.” 1 John 4:15

  1. Acknowledge that Jesus is the Son of God.
  2. God will live in you, and you in God.

First this, then that. Amazing how the Lord always wants us to take part in our relationship with Him. Some people like to put everything on God’s shoulders and make Him completely responsible for everything that happens to them. But this wouldn’t be a relationship.

Two people working toward one purpose, like in a marriage—only this is a perfect marriage: we, the bride, and Christ, the groom.

“For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.”
1 Corinthians 3:9

"Heavenly Father, thank You for the privilege of having a personal relationship with You, for not being a distant deity, but a loving and involved Father, who wants me to be an active part of Your Kingdom. Help me to be obedient and take me to a deeper level of relationship with You. In Jesus' Name, Amen."
