Trusting His Deliverance

God's Word can be confusing. At times, He promises to protect the righteous from sickness and disease. At other times, He promises to deliver the righteous out of affliction. He can't deliver us out of something if we never experience it in the first place.
We live in a world where sin exists. Because sin broke the perfect system God created, we're all affected. Cancer, diabetes, arthritis, and so many kinds of diseases eventually can affect us. But for those who love God with their whole hearts, those afflictions don't get the final say! God will deliver us out of them all.
Sometimes, that deliverance takes place here on earth. Other times, He delivers us straight out of this pain-filled existence into a pain-free, peace-filled, love-saturated eternity. Either way, we're delivered.
“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.” Psalm 34:19
Dear Father, thank You for delivering me from every affliction. I love You. I trust You. I know You are good. Amen.
