Running to the One Who Holds Us

Running to the One Who Holds Us

  • 1 min reading time

God’s way is perfect, we all know that. But it’s hard to hold on to this truth when we’re facing a broken heart or difficult seasons.

“If God’s way is perfect, why do I have to go through this?” you may wonder. Is God cruel? Doesn’t He care about us?

God’s way is perfect, but life is full of challenges, imperfections, and shortcomings. As long as we live on this earth, we will have trouble... Jesus told us this.

But when we run to Him, He becomes our shield. He is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46). When we turn to the Lord, He comforts us, loves us, and protects us.

Life may not be perfect, but our God always is. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

Don’t let seasons of trial lead you away from the only Way, the Truth, and the Life: Jesus. He is our only and ultimate hope:

“Simon Peter answered him, ‘Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.’” John 6:68

👉 This week:
Read Psalm 46. Meditate on each verse and make it your daily prayer.

“Lord, thank You for Your perfect love. Remind me, when life is hard, that I can run to You. Help me stand firm in Your Word. Amen.”
