How many times in the bible did God choose very unlikely people?

• Moses, the reluctant leader
• Gideon, the fearful warrior
• David, the young shepherd boy turned king
• Paul, the persecutor turned apostle

Like these men, you may also think you are not suitable for a mission or a task the Lord has assigned to you. But remember: He just needs an obedient heart. For God does not choose the qualified; He qualifies those He calls.

The LORD said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the LORD? Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.” Exodus 4:11-12

God is so good that He puts His strength in us and then calls us strong.

“Dear Father, thank You because in You, I’m strong. Help me live by faith, not by sight, and enable me to do whatever You want me to do. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
