Why Does God Allow Hardships in Our Lives?
Take Heart ShopShare
Have you ever wondered if God loves us, why does He allow us to suffer?
First of all, God knows our sinful nature. If we didn't have troubles, we wouldn't need Him to deliver us. If we didn't endure hardship, we might forget all about Him. God doesn't cause the bad things in our lives. But He allows them, and He uses them to shape us into the loving, compassionate, wise people He wants us to be. He also allows them because He longs for our attention, and He knows we might not call on Him if we didn't have a need.
Secondly, this life is not our final destination. This world lies in the power of the evil one, and here we will face hardships, like Jesus did. But as He stated on John 16:33:
"In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Remember: God is always listening to us, waiting for us to call on Him. He never falls asleep, and He never goes off duty. When we cry out to Him, He hears, and He delivers us! He will never turn a deaf ear to His children. He will not ignore our pleas for help.
Dear Father, thank You for hearing me when I cry out. I need You to deliver me, and I know that You will. Amen.
