Evil may seem loud and victorious in moments like this, but let us remember: evil does not win.
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
This week, our hearts are heavy as we mourn the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk. Evil may seem loud and victorious in moments like this, but let us remember: evil does not win.
The tomb is empty. Jesus is alive. Our God reigns over history and eternity 🙌. Even in the face of violence and darkness, we can stand firm, because nothing can extinguish the light of Christ.
Now, more than ever, it is time to be bold in our faith. To live courageously, without shame, with lamps burning brightly so the world can see God’s light through us. We are not called to shrink back in fear, but to shine all the brighter.
Fear is one of the enemy’s greatest weapons... fear of war, attacks, disease, or uncertainty. But God is our greater refuge. When fear presses in, ask the Lord to replace it with reverence for Him alone. That holy fear leads to peace, confidence, and unwavering trust.
Take Heart. God is in control. Do not waver. Do not be discouraged. Keep Your Lamp Burning! 🔥🔥🔥
"Lord, in the dark and uncertain days, give us courage to stand firm in faith. Drive out fear from our hearts, and let Your light shine through us. Keep our lamps burning, that we may honor You with boldness and unwavering trust. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
