Are you following the crowd or following God?

Learn how to use your influence to present the Truth, not fear, to those around you.
"Caleb told the people to be quiet and listen to Moses. Caleb said, 'Let’s go now and take possession of the land. We should be more than able to conquer it.' " Number 13:20
Remember when Moses sent the 12 scouts to explore the Promised Land? Ten of them came back frightened by what they had seen and spread a bad report and fear among all Israel.
The negative opinion of ten men caused a great rebellion among the people. Since it is human nature to accept opinion as fact, we must be especially careful when voicing our negative opinions. We have tremendous power to influence others. What we say may heavily influence the actions of those who trust us to give sound advice.
Our words shape others' faith
God had already promised that land to Israel, and He is the Truth. May we be like the two men who chose the truth in this story: Joshua and Caleb. It doesn't matter what the majority is saying... truth cannot be measured by numbers. Truth is always truth.
In fact, especially in our days, truth often stands against the majority opinion. Like Joshua and Caleb, would you be able to stand alone on the side of truth? Don't base your decisions and opinions on what everyone else is doing. Truth does not change according to the situation. Be bold and loyal to the only Truth.
In our search to find out what is right or wrong, we usually ask:
❌ "What do the experts say?" or "What do my friends say?"
But the question we should ask is:
✅ "What does God say?"
Let's seek to be prepared and equipped with the Word of God, and then use our influence to present the Truth to those around us. Speak Truth!
"Lord Almighty, give me the grace to be an instrument in Your hands. Help me to stand for the Truth, even when everyone around me does not. In Jesus' name, Amen."
