A Glimpse of Heaven in Your Home

"So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.  Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”
John 13:34-35

Can you imagine what heaven will be like? Living in God's presence—where sin cannot exist—will be glorious beyond measure. No violence, no harsh words, no judgment... only love, peace, joy, and complete acceptance.

While we can't recreate heaven on earth, it should always be our aim. When we speak with kindness, love, and strive to live in peace with those in our home, we create a small refuge—a glimpse of heaven on earth.

I know this isn’t always easy. Maybe you have a difficult husband or a rebellious teenager. Loving and accepting those who fall short of our expectations is hard. Yet, that’s exactly what God does every time He looks at us.

"Dear Father, help me create a little bit of heaven on earth. Equip me with everything I need. Teach me to love as You love and to be merciful as You are. Amen."
