5 Simple Ways to Share Your Faith

5 Simple Ways to Share Your Faith

  • 2 min reading time

He said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”

Matthew 9:35-38

In this passage, Jesus compares those who don’t yet know Him to a field of grain, ripe and ready to be harvested. The only problem? There aren’t enough workers in the field. So Jesus tells His followers to pray that God would send more people to gather the harvest.

👉 In other words, there are hearts already open and ready to hear the hope of the gospel. But not enough people are stepping out to share the good news.

As followers of Christ, we’ve been given the gift of eternal life, and with that gift comes the responsibility to share it. Yet, so many of us keep quiet about our faith.

We’re called to be bold, to lovingly point others to the cross so they, too, can know the life found in Jesus.

Take a moment today to think about one small step you can take to start sharing Him with others.

Here are 5 ideas:

1) Start spiritual conversations naturally. Ask questions like, “Did you grow up in a faith tradition?” or “Do you ever think about what happens after we die?”

2) Share what God is teaching you. Not a sermon, just something simple like, “I read something in the Bible this week that really encouraged me…”

3) Invite someone to church or a Bible study. A simple, “Hey, want to come with me this Sunday?” can make a big difference.

4) Offer to pray for someone. When a friend shares a struggle, say, “Would it be okay if I pray for you about that?”

5) Wear Christian apparel intentionally. Sometimes a verse or message on your shirt opens the door for conversation without you saying a word. (That's our mission at takeheart.shop)

Then take the step!
The harvest is ready, let’s not wait to be part of it.

"Lord Jesus, give me Your heart for people. Open my eyes to see those who need Your hope, and give me the courage to speak and live Your truth. Use my words and my actions to point others to You. Here I am, Lord. Send me. Amen."
